Stone, chosen slowly.
I — Origin
Every slab is selected at source. Makrana. Carrara. Rajasthan. The Alps.
Selected at the quarry face — rejected more often than accepted. What survives becomes one of the largest marble libraries in India, held at Silvassa: Makrana to Statuario, Rosso Levanto to Verde Alpi, catalogued block by numbered block.

II — The Atelier
What the mountain begins, Silvassa finishes.
NITCO runs the most advanced marble processing plant in India. Each slab is made twice — once by the mountain, once by us.
BINDING — SILVASSA
01 — Bound before it is cut
The block is wrapped in Italian fibre on three sides and set in epoxy for forty-eight hours, so no edge will ever chip.
BM GANGSAW
02 — Sawn to a tenth of a millimetre
Our BM gangsaws hold thickness to plus-minus 0.77mm, where the trade accepts two to three.
KILN — CURING
03 — Dried in a kiln
The only marble in India heated slab by slab until its pores open. Only an open pore will take resin.
VACUUM CHAMBER — TENAX
04 — Filled under vacuum, the Italian way
Italian Tenax epoxy drawn through a fibre net into every crack inside a sealed vacuum chamber. The brittle stone becomes rock-hard.
THE LINE — SILVASSA
05 — Three kilns, three curings
Bottom, top and seal, each cured two hours, until the fibre becomes part of the body of the slab.
POLISHING LINE — 18 HEADS
06 — Ground by eleven heads, polished by eighteen
Computer-synchronised, on imported stone, to a flatness the hand cannot feel.
UV-RESIN POLISH
07 — The only UV-resin polish in the country
A gloss above 100 on white marble. A shine you can read a room in.
VACUUM-CUP ROBOTICS
08 — Untouched by hand
Robotic arms with vacuum cups carry every slab. No palm meets the face until it meets yours.
This is why NITCO marble does not weep, does not chip, does not dull.
